“Black Girl” is Waz Most first single from his debut album Reflections of Life. This track features Waz Most as a relaxed kat trying to rap about his ideal type of women. It’s a classic throw back of a love joint with real ideals and consciousness within the lyrics. This couldn’t have come at a better time in the industry when some of the focus has been about exploiting black women.
Waz Most took a different approach and has unleashed a joint that shows respect to our women as those who are truly “swimming in polluted waters but strong enough to raise our sons and daughters”. His flow is steady and smooth as it rides the calming piano and tempting cymbal base lines. Waz Most draws us in with his impeccable
timing and his conversational type flow which captures the movement & rhythm of a beat that’s hanging on his every word. This is sound fluidity at its best with no spaces just pure “mental stimulation”.
Now take all this coupled with thought provoking lyrics and you have a hip hop joint that’s sure to be embraced by old and young, both men and women as it uplifts, promotes, and references positive relationships within the black community.
